An update has emerged on backstage concerns regarding WWE plans for LA Knight, following recent reports.
The rising star has significantly grown in popularity since returning to his LA Knight character in late 2022.
While many have called for WWE to present Knight as a top star, WWE has yet to pull the trigger on Knight’s push.
As previously reported by PWInsider, Knight’s booking is all by plan, and that his standing within the company is held extremely high by executives.
That report stated that the company wants make sure the timing is right before they eventually give Knight a highly anticipated push.
WRKD Wrestling has now added to this, indicating that some within WWE are worried that WWE won’t strike while the iron is hot.
WRKD Wrestling tweeted:
We can add that there are parties worried that the company won’t strike while the iron is hot and momentum will fade, as they’ve done with some in the past.
Knight hasn’t wrestled in a singles match at a WWE premium live event since losing to Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble in January.
The popular star will be in action at SummerSlam, competing in the SummerSlam Battle Royal this Saturday.
Other stars announced for the battle royal include Sheamus, Bronson Reed and Tommaso Ciampa.

Stated by @PWInsidercom: LA Knight is in line for a push & that the WWE is waiting for “the right moment in time.”
