A women’s tag team match has been announced for the August 18 Fight For The Fallen 2023 edition of AEW Rampage.
At AEW All In, Hikaru Shida will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Toni Storm, Saraya and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. in a four-way match.
This will mark Shida’s second defense of her second reign after winning the title from Storm on AEW Dynamite 200.
AEW announced that Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm will be on opposite sides of a tag team contest on the Fight For The Fallen 2023 special episode of AEW Rampage. Shida will team with Skye Blue, while, Storm will of course be paired with her fellow Outcasts member Ruby Soho.
Also announced for this Friday’s show, Rey Fenix will face Komander in a first time matchup for All Elite Wrestling.
Fenix will team up with Penta El Zero Miedo, Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor and Eddie Kingston against Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and three partners of their choosing in a Stadium Stampede Match at AEW All In on August 27.
