It was a wild Steel City Street Fight on tonight’s WWE Payback which ultimately ended in a big title change.
The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens put their title on the line tonight against Damian Priest and Finn Balor from Judgment Day.
However, they certainly weren’t just battling two members, rather all of Judgment Day, plus JD McDonagh got involved throughout the match.
After JD McDonagh broke up a pin and felt the wrath of Owens as a result, Owens himself wouldn’t escape unscathed.
Rhea Ripley ran out to deliver a giant spear to Kevin Owens through the barricade, leaving it down to Balor and Zayn in the ring.
Balor hit Zayn with a Slingblade and primed himself for the Coup De Grace, but Zayn was able to escape and hit an exploder into the corner before landing his Helluva Kick finisher.
However, Dominik Mysterio popped up to hit Zayn with Damian Priest’s Money in the Bank briefcase, knocking out Zayn and allowing Balor to lay an arm over Zayn’s lifeless body.
Without motion, the pin was called and the Judgment Day are the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
Despite it taking the entire faction plus their bonus little buddy JD McDonagh at that!
