Jey Uso has now broken his silence following his WWE return at Saturday’s Payback 2023 premium live event.
During the special edition of the Grayson Waller Effect that took place on the September 2 show, Cody Rhodes introduced Jey Uso as the newest member of the Raw roster.
This marked Jey’s first WWE appearance since the August 11 edition of SmackDown, during which he confronted Jimmy Uso for turning on him at SummerSlam, before announcing that he was quitting the Bloodline and WWE.
Jey has now shared a video to his Instagram Story of himself backstage at Payback.
Confirming that he will be on Monday’s (September 4) edition of Raw, Jey said:
“Main Event Jey Uso’s in your city.
“As a matter of fact, Imma see you all on Monday.”

Jey Uso hasn’t wrestled since losing his Tribal Combat match against Roman Reigns at Summerslam, following Jimmy Uso’s aforementioned interference.
Both Usos debuted new entrance themes on WWE TV this week, with Jimmy Uso’s new music playing before his confrontation with John Cena on SmackDown.
Following the Grayson Waller Effect segment, Waller appeared to reference CM Punk’s AEW exit, which you can read more about right here.
