AEW has added a number of new pay-per-views to their schedule in 2023, including AEW All In at Wembley Stadium and the upcoming WrestleDream show on October 1.
It has been rumoured that AEW would expand their pay-per-view schedule ahead of their upcoming media rights deal and potential deal with the Max streaming service.
AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view has typically served as the final AEW pay-per-view of the year, but that may not be the case this year amid the ongoing expanding calendar.
Per Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, AEW has been discussing potentially holding another pay-per-view event this year after Full Gear.
While nothing has been set in stone, the discussion has gone as far as naming December 29, 2023 as the potential date for the event.
The name of the potential event has not yet been revealed.
AEW has typically run their Winter is Coming special episode of Dynamite in December.
AEW is set to hold it’s Grand Slam special episode of Dynamite tonight (September 20) from Arthur Ashe Stadium.
