Former WWE World Champion Dolph Ziggler is one of the several names who has been released by WWE today (September 21).
The news was confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who tweeted:
Fightful has learned that former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler has been released by WWE
Ziggler himself has yet to publicly comment.

Others who have departed WWE so far today are Elias, Riddick Moss, Emma, Mustafa Ali, Rick Boogs, Aliyah, Top Dolla and Shelton Benjamin.

Ziggler has been signed to the company for nearly 20 years, initially being called up to the main roster as part of the Spirit Squad in 2006.
He redebuted under the Dolph Ziggler name in 2008, where he went on to become a two time World Heavyweight Champion in the company, including his iconic Money In The Bank cash-in on the Raw after WrestleMania 29.
Ziggler’s last match was on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, where he went to a double countout with JD McDonagh.
