A top WWE star who has been off TV for over a month is reportedly currently dealing with a “really bad” injury.
The Celtic Warrior Sheamus has been glaringly absent from WWE programming since facing off with Edge on the August 18 edition of SmackDown.
While that may prove to be the Rated R Superstar’s last match in the company, it was unclear as to why we haven’t seen Sheamus since then either.
Now, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided some new details as to why the four-time world champion has been off TV, saying Sheamus currently has a: “really bad shoulder injury.”
Little more is known about the specifics of this injury, with WWE yet to make any announcement regarding Sheamus’ absence.
We send our best wishes to Sheamus in his recovery.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
Although Sheamus has been off TV, it was recently reported that the Irishman’s WWE contract could soon be up in the near future, for full details click here.
