Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has reacted to ‘inside footage’ from early in his career floating about online in a new post on Twitter.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may be one of the world’s biggest stars now but way back when, he was a hopeful young member of the roster.
When a fan took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a dark match that occurred ‘even before his Survivor Series debut’, Johnson reacted.
Sharing his thoughts on the snapshot back in time, Johnson said:
“Incredible you’re able to see this inside footage. Wow
“This was my second match ever.
“24hrs earlier I had my first match ever in Corpus Christi 👊🏾
“God Bless Chris Candido 🕊️”
Johnson would make his official debut on WWE television at the 1996 pay-per-view, Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden under the moniker ‘Rocky Maivia’.
