Last night’s (October 10) episode of WWE NXT was advertised as the “biggest NXT of all-time”, featuring many of the company’s top stars making appearances on the show.
Among the names making appearances on the show were John Cena, Paul Heyman, Asuka, Cody Rhodes and The Undertaker.
The show was going head to head with AEW Dynamite, with both shows stacking their respective cards for the head to head.
Despite WWE airing Undertaker’s gong sound at the end of NXT commercials, he was never officially announced for the show.
Taker appeared at the very end of the show, where he confronted Bron Breakker, laying him out with a Chokeslam and endorsing Carmelo Hayes to end the show.
Now that Taker’s not-so surprising appearance has taken place, WWE has uploaded a backstage interaction between Taker and Shawn Michaels from last night’s show, with the two old rivals reuniting.
The ratings for the head to head between NXT and Dynamite have been released, which you can see here.
