A WWE star has called upon the company’s creative to book an underused talent more frequently on TV following his most recent showing.
Although NXT’s Joe Gacy hasn’t competed inside a WWE ring in over a month, it seems as if he is more intent on persuading the company to feature a different rising star on TV more often.
Taking to Twitter, Gacy called for more Dante Chen on WWE programming, saying:
More @DanteChenWWE please
27-year-old Chen has mostly featured on NXT Level Up and on NXT’s live event shows throughout much of his WWE tenure thus far.
However, on the most recent edition of NXT, WWE’s first-ever Singaporean star got a rare chance to showcase his talents on the USA Network, facing off against the brand’s newest face Lexis King (FKA Brian Pillman Jr).
Unfortunately for Chen, despite some bright spots in the match he would fall to the debuting former AEW star.
Despite this, Chen will no doubt be hoping his impressive outing along with the support of others such as Gacy will be enough to begin to be featured more on TV in the future.
As for Gacy, little has been seen of the former Schism leader since disbanding the group officially at NXT No Mercy on October 1 – The Dyad have since left WWE, and we last saw Ava potentially teasing a move to the Bloodline.
