An update has emerged on independent wrestling star Jay Malachi, amid speculation about Malachi joining WWE.
It was recently reported that Malachi was present the WWE Performance Center, following his participation in the most recent set of WWE tryouts.
While this fuelled rumors that Malachi was set to be signed by WWE, we might have just had another big clue indicating that the star is WWE-bound.
Deadlock Pro Wrestling has now announced that Malachi has relinquished his DPW World Title.
Announcing that Malachi is finishing up with the company, Deadlock Pro Wrestling tweeted:
Jay Malachi has relinquished the DPW World Championship after a successful defense against Alec Price at DPW World’s Strongest.
A new champion will be crowned at DPW 2nd Anniversary on December 10th in Durham, NC!
Jay Malachi was a key member of the DPW roster for 2 years; Malachi was the 3rd World Champion & the 2023 Carolina Classic winner.
He finished up his scheduled dates with DPW at World’s Strongest & we wish him all the best as he continues to take over the world! Thank you Jay.
Malachi wasn’t the only star who was recently spotted at the Performance Center, with a WWE legend’s son also seen at the WWE facility.
