CM Punk has hilariously referenced Seth Rollins’ viral reaction to his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023 in a new post on social media.
Following CM Punk’s shock return in Chicago, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was filmed by fans shouting obscenities and ‘flipping off’ Punk.
While Rollins has been vocal of his dislike for Punk in the past, according to reports Rollins’ reaction was purposefully done to be build to a big feud between the two, with further reports confirming that direction yesterday (November 28).
While Punk himself somewhat addressed Rollins’ reaction in his promo on Raw (November 27) he has now done so again without mentioning Rollins’ name directly.
Posting to his Instagram story (see below), Punk shared a cartoon image of the scene at Survivor Series captured by fans in attendance.
The picture sees Punk waving to Randy Orton, who was pictured sitting on a steel folding chair inside the ring and mimicking Punk’s actions as he made his entrance.
In between Punk and Orton, however, is a very angry cartoon version of Rollins reflecting his reaction to Punk’s arrival back in WWE.
Punk captioned the image saying: “This is fantastic”, seemingly having a bit of fun with the situation.
