A new report has revealed WWE name and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has recently received a backstage promotion.
In October, Triple H announced the on-screen promotion of Adam Pearce from an official to the Raw General Manager, while Nick Aldis was named the SmackDown GM.
For years, Pearce has been an on-screen authority figure on both Raw and SmackDown with the help of others, but mostly on his own as a constant.
Behind the scenes, the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has long worked as a producer for the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting Adam Pearce is now exclusively a producer for the Raw brand full-time moving forward.
The report notes that there would obviously always be some exceptions to this decision.
Pearce has long been praised by talent and staff alike for his work both backstage and on-screen.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Adam Pearce’s backstage status when they become available.
