A currently injured WWE star has commented on CM Punk’s return to the company, noting that he’s doing his job putting eyes on the product.
CM Punk made his return to WWE after almost a decade away at the end of WWE Survivor Series in Chicago, with his return coming after an investigation into the backstage altercation at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
Speaking to SportsKeeda’s WrestleBinge, WWE star Braun Strowman commented on Punk’s return to the company, noting that he’s doing his job by putting new eyes on the product.
He said:
“He’s doing his job. At the end of the day, our job is to put eyes on the product and butts in the seats and well, it looks like he’s doing
it.
“I’ve heard mixed reviews from multiple people on what kind of person he is. I’ll find out when I meet him and he can get in line and get these hands just like anybody else.”
Strowman has been out of action since early May with a serious neck surgery, and he recently provided an update on his return, which you can see here.
