A top WWE star is expected to make their return to television after almost three months away on tonight’s (December 15) episode of SmackDown.
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles has not appeared on WWE television in almost three months, with him being taken out in a backstage attack at the hands of Solo Sikoa back September.
Over the past few weeks, reports have emerged about Styles’ status, and him being potentially set to make an imminent return to WWE television.
However, Styles is still yet to appear on the show, with his planned returns being pushed back multiple times, and him even being advertised for last week’s Tribute to the Troops special.
However, in an update from PWInsider, Styles is currently expected to make his return at tonight’s SmackDown tapings in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Fellow OC members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were also recently missing from the ring due to an injury suffered by Gallows, but they recently returned to the ring, though not yet to television.
Tonight’s show will feature the return of Roman Reigns for the first time since WWE Crown Jewel.
