An AEW star who has been absent from television due to recent health concerns is set to return on tonight’s Dynamite.
Tonight’s (December 20) Holiday Bash special episode of AEW Dynamite is set to take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and one certain Oklahoman legend is set to be in town.
Per Tony Schiavone on the AEW Control Center, AEW announcer Jim Ross will be on tonight’s show in his home state.
He said:
“Come join us for some great action in the Continental Classic and more, including welcoming back JR. That’s right, Jim Ross will be with us tonight in Oklahoma City. We’ll celebrate the holidays with JR and have some great action, as we also help Toys for Tots.”
JR has been absent from AEW television since early November, when he took some time off to heal from a health concern.
JR recently revealed that he was feeling healthier, but had not been given a potential return date, so it’s not known if tonight’s appearance will be a one off, or if he will be back full time with the company.
