WWE star MVP has pitched himself for a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hinting that he’s interested in playing a big character.
The future of the next two Avengers films seems a little uncertain right now, with Marvel reportedly dropping Jonathan Majors who played numerous variants of Kang across several MCU properties.
With Majors’ Kang lined up to be the next major MCU antagonist, and the next Avengers film originally titled ‘The Kang Dynasty’, there has been a lot of debate over Marvel’s next move, with some fans wanting a new storyline entirely, and others just wanting Marvel to recast Kang.
MVP has now pitched himself as a replacement, indicating that he wants to join the MCU.
Replying to a tweet asking which wrestler could fill the role, MVP tweeted a photo of himself with the caption:
No problem…
MVP wouldn’t be the first WWE name to star in the MCU, with Batista (Dave Bautista) previously receiving a lot of praise for his portrayal of Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is also set to star in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World movie.
Unfortunately for Seth Rollins and Captain America fans, this movie was delayed once again in November.
