WWE have released footage of The Rock sharing a heartwarming interaction with a top star whilst backstage at Monday Night Raw in San Diego, CA.
While the major talking point of Rock’s return to Raw for the Day 1 special will of course be his comments teasing a match with Roman Reigns, it seems as if he wasn’t just there to do that.
That’s because it also seems like he took the opportunity to catch up with some of the current talent on the roster also, including someone he crossed paths with during one of his previous cameos a few years back.
This being Becky Lynch, with WWE uploading a short video (see below) of The Rock and The Man sharing a hug backstage.
Lynch and Rock crossed paths previously during a segment that opened the first SmackDown of the FOX era in October 2019.
In WWE’s post they also made sure to tag Baron Corbin, who was the victim of the all-star team of Lynch and Rock during the segment in question.
