A new report has revealed the latest update on Mercedes Mone’s potential AEW debut.
On January 1, Fightful Select reported that Mercedes Mone was in talks with All Elite Wrestling and her debut was considered “imminent.”
Despite rumors and reports indicating that her debut would occur on the first Dynamite of 2024, there was no sign of the former Sasha Banks.
There were also no teases or hints on any AEW programming that Mone would appear on this Wednesday’s January 10 Homecoming edition of AEW Dynamite from Jacksonville, Florida.
In the F4WOnline Daily Update, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW expect Mercedes Mone to start on TV soon.
The report notes that until it happens and the contract is signed, nothing is 100 percent.
Many fans and critics believes that there will be some sort of hints or teases for Mone’s debut ahead of time considering past signings where they did the same, but Sting’s debut in Jacksonville at Winter Is Coming 2020 was a total surprise.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Mercedes Mone’s AEW status and debut when they become available.
