After earlier comments from AEW CEO Tony Khan criticizing WWE booking Jinder Mahal for a title shot, another WWE star weighed in.
Social media is spicy tonight!
After an earlier string of Tweets from AEW CEO Tony Khan referencing the booking of Jinder Mahal spread online, now another WWE star has weighed in with a response.
Getting straight to the point, WWE NXT star Edris Enofe quote tweeted Khan and responded simply:
‘stfu’
Khan had tweeted:
A double standard:
@730hook 28-1 career record, on winning streak calls out the Champ, a logical challenge sparks online outrage
Jinder has literally lost every single match he’s in for the past year, immediately gets title shot, where is the rage
Mahal issued his own response to Khan, but has since deleted it.
Edris Enofe for his part has a big opportunity coming up next week on WWE NXT as he and his tag team partner Malik Blade attempt to advance in an important tournament.
Discussed in a video package on tonight’s episode of NXT (January 9) by former AEW EVP turned WWE star Cody Rhodes, the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Cup to NXT.
Enofe and Blade’s team will face off against Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.
Two teams advanced on tonight’s show to including one who had their first match together tonight in Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker who beat Gallus as well as Axiom and Nathan Frazer who beat Hank & Tank.
