New WWE Tag Team Wins First Match Together

A new WWE tag team was victorious in their first match together on tonight’s WWE NXT as Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker form an unlikely duo.

After the pair of former foes were announced to be joining the WWE Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker made their debut as a team tonight (January 9).

Tonight’s show marked the beginning of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the first team to pick up a win was the brand new pair.

Corbin and Breakker took on Gallus (Joe Coffey and Wolfgang) in the first round of the tournament.

After their winning effort, the pair advances and will meet the winner of another first round match up from the left side of the bracket.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are set to take on Nathan Frazer and Axiom in another first round match up with the winner as yet to be determined.

The winners of the tournament will win a future title shot at the NXT Tag Team Champions who are currently, Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, the Family.
