A WWE star has been told by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis that they’re not slated to compete in the upcoming Royal Rumble match.
With men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches set to take place at Saturday’s (January 27) premium live event, several stars were shown drawing their numbers for their respective bouts during Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
WWE has now shared a new Digital Exclusive video on social media showing the likes of Shotzi, Zelina Vega and Michin finding out their entrance spots.
Also in the video, former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn arrived to collect their numbers, but Nick Aldis stopped Dawn, telling her that she’s not in this year’s Rumble.
You can watch the WWE Digital Exclusive below.
Isla Dawn took to Twitter to comment on her exclusion from the Rumble, writing:
Hypothetically of course, if I wanted to get a hold of a lock of Nick Aldis’ hair, would anyone be able to help me out?
#JusticeForIsla #RevengeOnNick
I’m going to get a fancy little wheel with all my enemies names in it and every piece of paper is going to say @RealNickAldis
There has been a lot of speculation about the potential winners of the men’s and women’s Rumble matches ahead of this weekend’s event.
Bayley, who many consider the favourite to win the Royal Rumble, has shared a new message for her Damage CTRL faction, which you can read more about at this link.
