WWE star Natalya has teased a cross-promotional match following the Royal Rumble 2024 pay-per-view.
While there had been a lot of speculation about surprises WWE had in store for this weekend’s 30-person matches, one shock that not many people predicted was the appearance of TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
The TNA star competed in the WWE match for 19 minutes, before she was eliminated by Bianca Belair.
Grace took to Twitter after the bout to comment on her appearance, hinting that there’s more to come from the WWE partnership with TNA:
Thank you, @WWE Universe.
This won’t be the last you’ll see of @ThisIsTNA
Natalya shared Grace’s post, noting that she’s looking forward to wrestling Grace ‘soon’.
The WWE star tweeted:
I can’t wait to wrestle you again… soon!
Several WWE stars have made appearances for other promotions under the Triple H regime, with Shinsuke Nakamura wrestling the Great Muta in Pro Wrestling NOAH in January 2023, and NXT’s Charlie Dempsey competing for All Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this month.
Triple H has addressed WWE’s recent interpromotional deals, throwing shade on the term ‘forbidden door’.
Natalya started the women’s Rumble in the #1 spot and was eliminated after 21 minutes of action.
Eventual winner Bayley notably broke a WWE record with her impressive Royal Rumble appearance, which you can read more about right here.
