There has been a new WWE Raw commentary team revealed as tonight’s broadcast kicked off on the air with a bit of ‘breaking news’.
Making news straight away in the show on January 29, Pat McAfee joined Michael Cole on the WWE Raw commentary team to start the show.
By the time he reached the desk, Michael Cole made a major announcement regarding the future of the broadcast team for the flagship show.
Cole informing WWE fans that Pat McAfee was going to be officially joining the WWE Raw commentary team moving forward.
The previous team was Cole and Wade Barrett, meaning Barrett is no longer on Raw.
Last week, WWE released SmackDown’s lead announcer Kevin Patrick, freeing up a spot on that show.
Elsewhere making big news to kick off the show, CM Punk made his entrance to the ring wearing a sling on his right arm.
