A top WWE star may be set to be featured in another documentary special.
At WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Royal Rumble match by last eliminating CM Punk to win back-to back Rumbles. This continued Cody’s quest to “finish the story” and become the first member of the Rhodes family to win the WWE Title.
In 2023, fans watched “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” on Peacock. This special documented Cody’s recovery from injury, his victory at the Royal Rumble 2023 and subsequent loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Speaking with Raj Prashad of Uproxx, Cody Rhodes discussed the potential of doing a part two for the documentary following his second straight win at Royal Rumble 2024. He said:
“I’d like to see a Part 2 to the documentary. I have expressed that to Nick Kahn.”
“I know he’s got big documentaries and other stuff on the table that are happening, especially with the Netflix deal and all that.”
“I’d like to see a Part 2 only because of how sour the finish of Part 1 is. It’s real life. It is what it is. But I’d like people to know that if they believed, hopefully it was for a good reason,”
It is unknown if there will be a part two of “American Nightmare” at the time of this writing.
