WWE star Ridge Holland continues to go through a character change, revealing more about that story on tonight’s NXT.
A highly talked about WWE storyline continued tonight on NXT as Ridge Holland ended a gauntlet match considering the consequences of his own brutality.
Holland has floundered since the dissolution of the Brawling Brutes; with Sheamus still nowhere to be found and Butch returning to his Pete Dunne moniker and tag team with Tyler Bate, Holland has pivoted on NXT.
After recently tangling with Gallus, Ridge Holland asked to fight all three of the members of the group at once, however instead was offered a gauntlet match.
However, it wouldn’t end up happening quite that way. While the first match was Ridge Holland taking on Wolfgang, Holland picked up the win during the commercial break.
Coming back from break, Ridge Holland was then in a match with Mark Coffey, however after an interference from Joe Coffey the match would end in a beatdown of Holland.
At least for a moment, but Ridge Holland then battled back from the clutches of the baddies to attack them all, leaving them laid out with a steel chair.
However, he didn’t seem to be feeling particularly triumphant.
Instead, Holland sat crouched in the corner of the ring, holding the sides of his head, seemingly frozen by the reality of his actions.
The story continues to be Holland trying to prove that he’s not just a monster who wants to injure people, but actually keeps doing exactly that.
