The February 13 episode of WWE NXT saw Ridge Holland run the gauntlet with Gallus, and Joe Coffey showed off the aftermath.
Highlights from the match, after which Holland snapped and unleashed a steel chair on his three opponents, can be seen below this news story.
Holland, who has been trying to redeem himself in NXT, clearly has some way to go on his journey, with Coffey showing off the marks left by the attack on social media.
As can be seen below, Coffey’s back is rather red after the hammering it took from the chair, with the NXT star commenting:
“No one does this to me.
“Ever.
“You’re marked son.”
In December 2023, Holland’s match against Ilja Dragunov saw the WWE NXT Champion suffer an ‘injury’, which was part of the storyline of Holland trying to prove he’s not just a brute that injures people.
The storyline was criticized by AEW’s Thunder Rosa, who said that WWE were “playing with fire” with the angle.
The ‘Redemption of Ridge’ is clearly far from over.
No one does this to me.
Ever.
