On tonight’s WWE NXT, a previously announced match ended up going forward as advertised after some confusion.
When the Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, were announced to making their in-ring return to NXT, it was originally against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.
However, later a WWE preview for NXT was aired on Raw and shared on social media by WWE that advertised Andre Chase and Duke Hudson of Chase U as the Good Brothers’ opponents instead of Enofe and Blade.
However it seems that in the end, it may have been a mistake after all as when the match hit the air, it was indeed the Good Brothers taking on Edris Enofe and Malik Blade as first advertised.
After Gallows and Anderson beat Enofe and Blade, they were confronted by Chase U, Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.
Displeased about Gallows and Anderson’s attack from behind last week on NXT, they wanted to deliver a Chase U beatdown!
However Andre Chase would be interrupted by Axiom and Nathan Frazer, noting that they were also jumped by Gallows and Anderson and therefore also deserved a shot at the Good Brothers.
The LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) would also pop up from behind to strike as the NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin watched on.
It seems there may be a four-way situation to determine Breakker and Corbin’s next challengers.
