The Bloodline was represented at an independent event this weekend, with an Anoa’i family member heavily referencing his family and the WWE faction.
While Roman Reigns’ Bloodline faction has been one of the most dominant forces in wrestling since late 2020, the group recently got even stronger with the addition of The Rock.
With WWE recently highlighting the Bloodline members’ family tree, a member of the family not currently signed to WWE chose to represent the Bloodline at a recent event.
Lance Anoa’i was in action at Saturday’s (March 2) House Of Glory Reckoning show, challenging for Carlos Ramirez’ HOG Crown Jewel Championship.
Interestingly, Lance Anoa’i was introduced as “representing the Bloodline”.
Lance’s Bloodline references didn’t stop there, with the star utilizing moves and taunts from his family members.
You can watch a clip of Lance Anoa’i paying homage The Rock’s People’s Elbow below.
The Anoa’i family member ultimately came up short in his title match, losing to Ramirez after 12 minutes of action.
Acknowledging his appearance, Lance Anoa’i took to Twitter after the show to note:
Thank you @HOGwrestling ☝🏽
Lance has competed as an enhancement talent on several occasions for WWE, most recently wrestling on the May 27, 2019 edition of Raw against Shane McMahon.
He and Roman Reigns are first cousins once removed, with Lance’s grandfather (Afa Anoa’i) and Reigns’ father (Sika Anoa’i) being brothers, and former Wild Samoan tag partners.
An in-depth look at how each of the current and previous members of the Bloodline are related can be found right here.
