The Rock’s upcoming appearance on WWE SmackDown has helped the show reach yet another impressive milestone.
The Rock made his official WWE return on the February 2 episode of SmackDown, where he seemingly stepped in for Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania match with Roman Reigns.
Rock would later turn heel, aligning with the Bloodline and Roman Reigns after Cody opted to challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania.
Rock has appeared on three straight episodes of SmackDown over the past few weeks, including an announced appearance on tomorrow night’s show, which has already seen a huge benefit to the show.
Per Dave Meltzer, this week’s episode of SmackDown is once again a sell out, which was helped due to the appearance of The Rock.
He tweeted:
Smackdown is sold out tomorrow. That’s on Dwayne as the advance before he was announced indicated nothing close.
This week’s SmackDown show being a sell out marks the eighth straight sell out episode of television for WWE across Raw and SmackDown.
