WWE’s Dijak has taken interest in the idea of a potential return to the company for current AEW star Keith Lee.
Lee is under contract with AEW having signed with the company in early 2022 following his WWE release in November 2021.
On Twitter, a fan asked a purely speculative question about Keith Lee, tweeting:
“Overall interest in Keith Lee returning to WWE?”
Dijak would reply with a meme video of Roman Reigns saying:
“I’m interested.”
Between 2018 and 2020, Lee and Dijak (then Dominik Dijakovic) faced each other a number of times in WWE.
They would also team together a handful of times, including during the WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames match in 2019, joining Kevin Owens and Tommaso Ciampa to take on The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong).
Footage from the match in which Team Ciampa would be victorious can be seen below this news story.
The end of Lee’s run in WWE would see him repackaged as Bearcat Lee which he would later reflect upon as a “different so start that it confused people.”
During his time in WWE, Lee would hold the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship.
His run in AEW has seen him hold the World Tag Team Championship with Swerve Strickland.
Dijak is yet to hold WWE gold despite being a fixture in the company since August 2017.
