WWE star and former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae has commented on her grudge match on Monday’s Raw.
On the March 11 edition of WWE Raw, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell defeated Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile after Candice laid into Maxxine with insults about her wrestling ability and her deceased brother.
The following week, LeRae and Hartwell picked up yet another win over Kayden Carter and Katana Chance thanks to Candice taking advantage of an injury to Chance.
After that, in a post-match segment that WWE posted on social media, LeRae once again insulted Dupri after faking an apology, and was then attacked by Ivy Nile.
WWE announced that Nile will have the opportunity at a measure of revenge when she goes one-on-one with LeRae on the March 25 episode of Monday Night Raw.
On March 24, Candice LeRae took to social media to quote tweet the WWE’s post promoting her grudge match on Raw. She wrote:
Payback?!? Ivy attacked ME from behind for literally apologizing to her friend . . . So dumb.
Also announced for this Monday’s broadcast, CM Punk will make his return to WWE programming with the show taking place in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
