WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has revealed who he wants to blame for his son Dominik Mysterio’s behavior towards him.
Since WWE Clash At The Castle 2022, Dominik Mysterio has been a loyal member of The Judgment Day alongside Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio.
The group has done their best to make the life of the rest of the Mysterio family, especially Dominik’s father and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
This has led to two WrestleMania matches involving father and son, including Rey teaming with Andrade to defeat “Dirty Dom” and Santos Escobar at WrestleMania 40.
Speaking to the Those Wrestling Girls podcast at the WrestleMania 40 media day, Rey Mysterio was asked about where he went wrong with Dominik Mysterio. He answered:
“I want to say that I did everything right. I want to put the blame on my wife.”
“My wife was the one that, you know, I traveled for so long, way too many days a week that my wife was mom and dad.”
“But no, being serious, my wife did an incredible job with both of my kids. The thing that I did the most was come home for one or two days a week and spoil them and I think that’s where I did wrong.”
Rey Mysterio also defeated Dominik Mysterio in singles competition at last year’s WWE WrestleMania 39 event.
The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest added more gold to the group when he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.
