WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has weighed in on The Bloodline’s The Rock and Roman Reigns’ future plans in the company.
At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to finally finish his story, ending Roman’s 1316 day reign and winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Meanwhile, Jey Uso defeated his twin brother and former tag team partner Jimmy Uso in a grudge match.
On the April 12 episode of SmackDown, The Bloodline underwent a makeover when Solo Sikoa took a leadership role and introduced Tama Tonga to attack and eliminate Jimmy from the group for his loss.
On the latest edition of Rikishi Fatu Off The Top, Rikishi discussed what the future holds for The Bloodline following WrestleMania 40 and SmackDown. He said:
“I think The Bloodline’s gonna kinda take a backseat for a minute, recoup for a minute. We do have other players that are lined up to able to come through.”
“But again, The Bloodline will always be there. It just has to be the right angle, the right storyline. Who knows? I’m gonna go out and just throw this out there.”
“I kinda see a WarGames. I kinda see somewhere down there The Rock turning on Roman Reigns. Rock becomes the heel, Roman comes back as a babyface.”
“I kinda see The Bloodline family members spread up and take sides, and then I kind of see something huge as far as WarGames or some type of gimmick match, amongst each other.”
“They would probably want to build that up for the next WrestleMania. To have that type of match being put together, it’d be nice to see that happen in the west coast because a lot our Polynesian culture, the west coast is island. Nothing but island people that are out here.”
“Samoan, Tongan, you name it, a bunch of Polynesians, Hawaiian. So to be able to come out here and showcase that match in front of our people would be great.”
Following Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga’s attack on Jimmy Uso, Rikishi addressed his son on social media, which you can read at this link.
Former Bloodline member Jey Uso is set to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash on May 4.
