WWE Intercontinental Champion has responded to Jackass star Johnny Knoxville’s teases for another match.
Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville crossed paths in the ring several times in 2022, with Knoxville notably eliminating Zayn from that year’s Royal Rumble match.
This led to an Anything Goes match between the two stars at WrestleMania 38, which Knoxville notably won.
Knoxville recently stated that he’d be open to fighting Sami Zayn again anytime, noting:
“Oh, you mean, smash that low down and dirty Sami Zayn in his face again? I would love to. Anytime. Anytime, WWE and Sami Zayn, I would love to smash your face in again.
“I know he’s a good guy now. Everyone says he’s a good guy, but I’m like, ‘Oh, please.’ He’s not much of a challenge. You saw, I mean, I don’t know if you’ve seen WrestleMania, but it wasn’t much of a challenge.”
Sami Zayn has now reacted to Knoxville’s comments, tweeting:
Johnny Knoxville is a deeply unhealthy man.
Zayn became the Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania 40, where he defeated Gunther to win the gold.
Because his title is assigned to the Raw brand, Zayn will remain a Raw star and won’t be eligible for the WWE Draft.
A WWE team has now reacted after being drafted to different brands, which you can read more about right here.
