Roman Reigns ‘has a lot on his mind’: The 946 or LA Knight could dominate on WWE Raw

Bleak times for Roman Reigns, with LA Knight challenging him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and The 946 targeting The Bloodline.

Days out from WWE Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns returns on the October 5 episode of Raw, and he will potentially address both situations, according to general manager Adam Pearce.

LA Knight has made his feelings towards stars the caliber of Roman Reigns, and the politics within WWE, clear over past weeks, setting out his intention to claim the top title at Money in the Bank.

Elsewhere, Royce Keys had led The 946 into an era of aggression the likes of which The Bloodline has never seen, with attacks, abductions and, most recently, Jaida Parker debuting and using a car to take out Jacob Fatu.

There may be a lot on the mind of Roman Reigns, but there also no doubt questions that need to be answered:

LA Knight and the World Heavyweight Championship

LA Knight has been a star on the cusp of championships for far too long in WWE, and it appears that the star is feeling the weight of that potential as he approaches Money in the Bank and his match against Roman Reigns.

Knight’s attitude towards the challenge ahead has been singular in focus, knowing what Reigns presents as a star, let alone one with a championship.

Having defeated CM Punk for the title at WrestleMania 42 in April, Reigns has successfully defended it four times, with two victories over Jacob Fatu (at Backlash and Clash in Italy), one over Seth Rollins (at SummerSlam) and his most recent outing being against Penta on the Mexico episode of WWE Raw.

There are plenty of arguments to be made that the World Heavyweight Championship would see more action in the hands of a full-time star, although The OTC does bring his own prestige to the prize.

The 946 & The Bloodline

Since August of this year, Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price have been The 946, with Jaida Parker now a member of the faction.

LA Knight hasn’t been free of their purpose, although The Bloodline appear to be their primary target, with SmackDown recently feeling their wrath and Cody Rhodes assisting The Usos to drive them off.

Attacks, abductions and the aforementioned car incident all set The 946 up as a major threat for The Bloodline.

Unanswered questions

Roman Reigns was always going be a factor on television ahead of his own match at any given WWE PLE, but surely there will be questions as to why he was absent during previous weeks and what went down with his family and The 946, particularly the abduction and car incident!

Reigns is a part-time WWE star and has previously discussed his potential retirement, saying “almost there, but not yet“. There is still value to The OTC as a star attraction, and opportunities alter the balance when it comes to the top spot through Knight and The 946.
