Seemingly well know that Cody Rhodes is set to star as Guile in the upcoming live action Street Fighter, one lesser known fact is that he won’t be the only WWE star.

Roman Reigns is also set to feature in the film, playing the dastardly Akuma in the upcoming movie.

Having filmed his scenes separate from Rhodes’ Guile, the pair reportedly didn’t overlap on-set but both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will definitely be featured in the film’s release.

More familiar faces to professional wrestling fans in the Street Fighter film, former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and NJPW star Hirooki Goto plays the iconic sumo wrestler E. Honda.

Liv Morgan stars in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

While a new film is set to drop featuring Liv Morgan, WWE fans outside of Japan may have to wait a bit longer until they’re able to see it.

Although Liv Morgan’s new movie Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 14, 2026, it has a further theatrical release date.

Set to be released in Japan on October 23, 2026, fans in North America and beyond will have to continue to wait and see when they might be able to see the Takashi Miike directed film that also features Shun Oguri and Lily James.

CM Punk

Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk

One WWE star that is keeping it within the Netflix family for their film release this fall is CM Punk.

Set to feature in a new romantic comedy Guarding Stars, CM Punk is set to feature alongside some familiar faces from the aughts.

Based on a book titled The Bodyguard, the film is set to feature Leighton Meester  as a serious agent looking to protect a reclusive star played by Jared Padelecki.

CM Punk reportedly plays “Doghouse,” a rough around the edges but fiercely loyal member of the security team.

The Christmas themed romantic comedy is slated for release on November 18, 2026 on Netflix.

However, if fans stick around a few months later they’ll find a bit darker role in store for CM Punk.

Set to feature in Night Patrol in a supporting role, that film is slated for release in January 2027.

Chelsea Green

Recently sharing some fascinating details about an upcoming Hollywood project that she starred in, Chelsea Green is set for her horror film debut alongside Rory Culkin and Lauren LaVera.

While the working title of the film is Red Wedding and per Green herself, hopeful for a Valentine’s Day 2027 release, it could be that fans may not get the glimpse of their beloved WWE Women’s Champion in the way they might imagine.

Noting that she is fully fitted in some frightening horror prosthetics for the project, the sight of the character frightened even Chelsea herself.
