8. Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens is truly fantastic, and not enough people appreciate just how good the former Universal Champion’s in-ring ability and character work are. However, his return to WWE since injury in early 2019 has been slightly underwhelming, but this could all change with a big victory on May, 12.
The WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, and the Universal Champion Seth Rollins are two of the biggest babyfaces in the company, and this means that it would make sense for the winner of the Money In The Bank Ladder Match to be a heel. Owens, whilst playing the role of a face currently has the ability to be one of the best villains in the company, and a heel turn is something that WWE could explore.
Imagine how the fans would react if Kofi Kingston had just successfully defended his WWE Championship in the main event of SummerSlam 2019, only for Owens’ music to hit and him to cash in his Money In The Bank contract and walk out as the company’s top champion.
This would firmly cement Owens as the top heel, and he could vent his frustrations about Kofi Kingston stealing his WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, giving him serious motivation.
