10 Revival Post-WWE Dream Matches

10 Revival Post-WWE Dream Matches

10. Cody & Dustin Rhodes

The Revival have finally been released by WWE. After over a year of waiting, they now have the opportunity to perform at a high level. Hence this list of ten dream matches. The first of which is about as old school a match as you will see.

The first match on this list pits Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson against Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Cody and Dustin are perhaps the perfect opponents as the Revival is the wrestling reincarnation of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. They have already shown they are a great team when called upon and the Brothers Rhodes are a perfect mesh of styles for the more grounded Revival.

Of course, Dustin is in a tag team with QT Marshall but no one really cares about that.

9. Robbie Eagles & Will Ospreay

Although not a regular team, Will Ospreay and Robbie Eagles are one of the best tag teams in the world when the opportunity presents itself. They had a classic match last year with El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori and stand as maybe the best high-flying team in the game.

The contrast of styles is most intriguing as The Revival has shown themselves to be wily heels, happy to ground flying opponents. If The Revival find themselves in a New Japan Pro Wrestling partnered promotion, this is a match that would light the world on fire.

8. Jay & Mark Briscoe

The top tag team in Ring of Honor history is Jay and Mark Briscoe. These two have a distinct style and personality. Of course, their personality is 100% genuine which makes them all the more interesting to watch in the ring. Should The Revival choose to take their talents to Ring of Honor, this is a match that will happen.

This could allow Wilder and Dawson to show a more vicious side of their game. They could be involved in a hell of a brawl with the Briscoes and it would be one of the most different matches on this list. Going to ROH might be a stretch, though.
