6. DX Drop S*** On Vince, Shane And The Spirit Squad
The 2006 D-Generation X rehash was for the most part a stream of puerile jokes made by two men old enough to know better and lame attempts at humour that often fell flat.
The duo’s never-ending feud with Vince and Shane McMahon and the dire Spirit Squad produced several of these useless segments.
One of the most memorable was DX dressing up as Vince and Shane for a parody skit. It was entertaining for about two minutes until the jokes wore real thin, real quickly.
Not that you could tell WWE that – they re-air clips from this repeatedly in highlight packages when looking back fondly at both Raw and DX.
The climax of the segment was Vince and co. hitting the stage and threatening to wage war on the comedy duo. Unconcerned, DX told them they were “full of crap” as a torrent of s*** dropped from the ceiling onto all of them on the stage.
DX then delivered one final “Holy s***” punchline as we all split our sides laughing at Vince with poo in his mouth.
Sigh.
