13. Anthony Ogogo
Similarly to Brian Cage, Ogogo as been off TV since June 2021 as he had to return to the UK for eye surgery, but he’s been back in action on Dark and Elevation in recent months.
If you rewind to last year’s Double Or Nothing, Ogogo was in the controversial match with Cody Rhodes, but has been a non-factor ever since then.
Obviously a lot of the blame can be placed on the surgery, but as mentioned, he’s been back in the States and wrestling for a little while now – he just hasn’t made it back to Dynamite or Rampage yet.
Ogogo’s performance against Rhodes was pretty great for his first major outing, and because of his notoriety in the UK, he’s definitely someone AEW should look at pushing pretty hard whenever possible.
