4. Pete Dunne
I don’t think anyone in their right mind wouldn’t pay good money to watch Samoa Joe wrestle Pete Dunne.
As one of the best wrestlers in the world, it’s pretty obvious that WWE views Pete Dunne very highly, and bringing Samoa Joe back into NXT through a feud with the former NXT UK Champion could be fantastic.
Both Pete Dunne and Samoa Joe are both the fantastic hybrid of powerful strikers and technical wrestlers, a match between the two would have something for fans of every wrestling style, putting it pretty high up on this list.
3. Bronson Reed
Can NXT just give me 20 minutes of Bronson Reed and Samoa Joe slapping the s*** out of each other?
In a similar vein to the Isaiah “Swerve” Scott suggestion, a feud with Samoa Joe could be exactly what Bronson Reed needs to establish himself as one of the top workers on the entire brand.
As two big boys, this match would probably take a more hard-hitting style than the technical aspect that a Samoa Joe and Pete Dunne match might bring, but there that’s the beauty of Samoa Joe, he can do both.
More than anything, I think NXT would be smart to book Bronson Reed and Samoa Joe in a program together. Even if Samoa Joe wins, I think Bronson Reed would gain a lot both to the fans and personally from working with the veteran.
