Last night’s August 11 episode of SmackDown ended with a major bombshell, when Jey Uso Superkicked not only Roman Reigns, but also his brother Jimmy.
Jimmy cost Jey the chance to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam, explaining that he turned on his brother because he didn’t want to see him become like Roman Reigns.
Jey then Superkicked Jimmy, before saying that he quit not only the Bloodline, but WWE.
While Jey’s decision may have come as a shock, there were a lot of hints over the last few years that led to Jey getting this much deserved break.
Here are 6 reasons why Jey Uso quit WWE.
6. A Stressful Three Years
Jey Uso has not known peace since August 2020. To say it’s been a stressful three years for him is putting it lightly.
From his original match with Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions through to now, there have been a lot of different things that have caused major stress to Jey.
Jey has probably forgotten what peace feels like at this point, with his entire family in-fighting.
Sometimes, when stuff gets too much, you have to step back and do what’s best for the sake of your sanity.
