Speaking of first-ever matches, a match between Sting and Bryan Danielson represents a clash of two of the greatest of all-time from totally different generations.
While this spot could be filled with other modern greats such as Kenny Omega or Kazuchika Okada, Danielson gets the nod here, due to he himself seemingly approaching the end of his own in-ring career.
As Danielson recently revealed, he only intends to wrestle full-time for one more year, so what better way to celebrate than to fill that with as many impossible ‘dream matches’ as possible.
We’ve already recently seen Danielson tease a match with 63-year-old CMLL legend Blue Panther, so seeing the American Dragon also tie up with the 64-year-old Sting in the same year would be surreal to say the least.
