Ahead of the calendar changing to a new year, WWE Royal Rumble 2025 looks to be more unpredictable than its been in a few years.
With several top stars jockeying for position on both Raw and SmackDown, it should prove to be one of the more surprising Royal Rumble matches that fans will have ever seen.
While Liv Morgan is set to defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley on the January 6 Raw on Netflix premiere, every other women will look towards the first PLE of 2025 to find their path to WrestleMania.
Here are eight potential WWE Women’s Royal Rumble 2025 winners.
8. Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton has established herself as a future main eventer for WWE and currently holds the Women’s Money In The Bank contract.
Stratton holding the briefcase might cause some fans to hesitate to choose her for next year’s Women’s Royal Rumble Match, but all of the teased cash-ins may lead to disappointment in the end for “Tiffy Time.”
With Nia Jax’s new association with Candice LeRae, Stratton’s friend and Queen of the Ring could screw her over and cost her the Money In The Bank contract, with the December 27 SmackDown proving that further.
This would lead to a full babyface turn for Stratton who could go on to win the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Match and then face Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, although admittedly this would be subverting fan expectations for little to no reason if WWE went this route.

7. Alexa Bliss

Since losing to Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble 2023, Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE television.
After giving birth to her first child in November 2023, Bliss has shown that she is once again training in the ring on social media. So, one would expect Bliss should be on her way back to WWE, with a Royal Rumble return being a possibility.
To re-cement Bliss on WWE TV, the company really should give the former multi-time Women’s World Champion an opportunity to become a top star again.
Bliss perhaps aligning with Nikki Cross in the Wyatt Sicks could be an unstoppable alliance who makes their way through the field and leads to a new branch of the faction coming out of the Women’s Royal Rumble.

6. Bianca Belair

After being presented as a top star pretty much since her call-up to the WWE main roster in 2020, 2024 has seen Bianca Belair take a well-needed step back to become a prominent part of the women’s tag team division.
Through two reigns as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Belair has showcased how she excels in singles or tag action, while helping Jade Cargill get used to the company’s in-house style.
With the recent mystery attack on Cargill, this could open the door for Belair to once again play a major role in the women’s title scene.
Going further, a potential heel turn for The EST in 2025 could set the stage for Bianca to become the first ever two-time Women’s Royal Rumble winner.

5. IYO SKY

At WWE Saturday’s Night Main Event, Liv Morgan defeated IYO SKY to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship.
SKY did not let this stop her momentum and replaced her Damage CTRL tag team partner Kairi Sane in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.
While IYO would be an excellent choice to become the inaugural champion, The Genius of the Sky feels like she should be part of the main title picture on Raw or SmackDown once again.
The Damage CTRL member winning the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble could also set up a tantalising showdown with Rhea Ripley that was recently teased on the December 9 edition of Raw, and could potentially be a show stealer at WrestleMania 41.

4. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has been on the sidelines with a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus since December 2023.
However, recent reports have indicated that fans could see a potential return of The Queen very soon in 2025.
The WWE Raw on Netflix premiere seems like a potential option, however, it would be more fitting for the 14-time WWE Women’s Champion to come back as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
Flair becoming the first two-time Royal Rumble winner would definitely upset a lot of fans, but it could set up some exciting matchups with the likes of Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Liv Morgan or Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.

3. Roxanne Perez

There might not be another WWE female star who had a better 2024 than current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
The Prodigy has always been fantastic inside the squared circle, but her growth on the microphone and as a character since turning heel in early 2024 has been fascinating to watch.
Perez finally getting called up to the WWE main roster in the Women’s Royal Rumble seems to be inevitable after two previous appearances for the two-time NXT Women’s Champion.
With the upcoming title bout against Giulia at NXT New Year’s Evil, Perez will have nothing holding her back in the developmental brand and should get the rocket strapped to her back upon her main roster call-up.

2. Becky Lynch

After appearing both at a WWE media event and Netflix HQ earlier this month AND featured in the latest Raw on Netflix trailer, all signs are pointing towards an imminent return of Becky Lynch to WWE.
After nearly eight months off of WWE TV, Lynch will feel like a breath of fresh air and adds a ton of star power to the women’s division.
The Man making her return seems likely for the upcoming WWE Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6 given the previous clues, but this should also lead to her playing a huge role come the Royal Rumble.
Lynch will obviously be a favorite and could win the entire match again like she did in 2019. Becky winning the Women’s Royal Rumble allows her to get revenge on Liv Morgan for “retiring” her or on Rhea Ripley for her WrestleMania XL loss.

1. Jordynne Grace

The most intriguing option to win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2025 has to be current TNA Wrestling star Jordynne Grace. Following her WWE debut in the 2024 Women’s Rumble, Grace set the world ablaze and became a catalyst for the NXTNA working relationship that elevated both brands.
With Grace expected to sign with WWE when her TNA Wrestling contract expires on the weekend of TNA Genesis on January 19, the 2025 Women’s Rumble could well be Grace’s official debut as a star for the company.
WWE could truly make a new star in one night by having the former three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion win the Rumble and go on to headline WrestleMania 41.
Whether it be against Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan or Nia Jax, Grace seems like a perfect opponent for whoever is going to be champion come April in Las Vegas at Mania.
