24. Shayna Baszler vs. Nikki Cross – NXT Takeover: Chicago II

Shayna Baszler has great potential and has done a marvelous job for her experience level. However, if you want to ensure she has a better match than this then it would probably be a good idea to put her in the ring with more experience than Nikki Cross.
The match wasn’t bad by any means but the story of Cross not being afraid of Baszler and seeming at peace while being choked out just didn’t register with the live crowd. Something had to be at the bottom and this is it.
