5. Re-Legitimise Match Stipulations
WWE has had the following pay-per-views turned premium live events on their calendar for the entire PG era; Extreme Rules, TLC, Hell In A Cell and Money In The Bank.
A common criticism of ‘gimmick’ shows is that it ‘devalues’ the match concepts, given that we now know to expect a Hell In A Cell match every June, after just getting used to expecting two every October.
Maybe a move to TV-14 will help put the Extreme back into Extreme Rules, the Hell into Hell in a Cell, etc.
Cody’s historic performance already went a long way in doing that, but more work is needed.
