WWE
The WWE roster is as packed as ever with talent across Raw, SmackDown and NXT, but that hasn’t stopped the company looking to their past and bringing back several former talents.
Baron Corbin and Big Cass are two notable examples, and both have made their presence felt since returning to the fold, but could we soon be seeing more names join that list?
Here are three former WWE stars to potentially re-sign with the company.
Eric Young

Eric Young appeared on WWE NXT during the September 23 episode
We start off with a re-signing that has seemingly already happened, as eagle-eyed fans may have noticed a brief cameo from Eric Young during the September 4 episode of SmackDown.
During Lil Yachty’s music video training montage that he put together in preparation for his WWE in-ring debut vs. Baron Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event, Eric Young and CM Punk’s close friend Ace Steel were shown training the rapper in the ring.
WWE have not formally announced Young’s return to WWE and neither has he, but we have known about his impending return to the company since July, when it was reported that the former Sanity frontman was heading back to the company following his TNA release on July 1.
Reportedly joining WWE as a player/coach in NXT, it remains to be seen whether we’ll see the former TNA World Champion wrestle on the Tuesday night brand or remain working exclusively behind the scenes.
Killer Kross & Scarlett

Karrion Kross competed in his final match for WWE back at SummerSlam 2025
Killer Kross and Scarlett’s WWE departures in August 2025 were among the most hotly discussed and debated of that year, as fans were unsure whether their exit was a work or legitimate.
The reason fans were so convinced that WWE weren’t actually letting the pair go was due to how popular an act they had become in the months leading up to their exit, with Kross selling merchandise and gaining consistently loud reactions on TV.
However, Kross and Scarlett’s exits were indeed legitimate and the pair returned to the indie scene shortly afterwards; where they have found great success in promotions such as MLW and GCW among others.
Considering Baron Corbin was brought back to WWE after just over a year away from the company, it wouldn’t be a massive surprise to see Kross and Scarlett come back for another run if they continue their solid work outside the company.
Enzo Amore
With Big Cass returning to WWE last month, naturally fans have been questioning whether his former tag team partner Enzo Amore will be following behind him or not.
Before Cass’ AEW departure was official, it was reported that Amore was set to re-sign with WWE and return to the NXT brand.
However, by the time Cass had exited AEW and vignettes began airing on Raw for his return, there was no sign of Enzo whatsoever.
With Enzo and Cass being such a popular double act, WWE may eventually look to bring back the former Cruiserweight Champion if the seven foot tall Raw star’s singles career fails to get off the ground.
