“I may not be a pirate, no, may not be related – but I am a murderous clown and that just cannot be understated, baby!”

That was the money line from Joe Hendry’s pre-match music video. And, that was about the only thing money about this match. Hendry is really talented. I’ve only been introduced to him in the last year or so. I get that he can sing. He’s also funny. I’m not sure that pairing him with Grado and Katarina in this love triangle storyline was necessarily the best move, though.

Maybe if he had been paired up with Katarina and gone heel, then he would be a hotter act. Yes, his Burchill line a few weeks ago was great. This one wasn’t as funny. Let’s not even mention Murder Clown. Maybe somebody can fill me in on this guy and I’ve been missing out, but I’m not seeing superstar here.

The match was fairly short. Hendry hit an impressive fall away slam on the 300 lbs-plus clown. Murder Clown picked up the win by hitting a big splash from the top rope. He wasn’t done there. After Grado got hit with a low blow from Katarina, Murder Clown hit a big splash onto Hendry through a table.
