A former WWE star who is currently a big free agent has reportedly had talks with All Elite Wrestling following their free agency.
Numerous top names have become free agents, or are set to become free agents, in 2024, and there has been an update on the future of one of those names.
Former WWE star and former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo is currently a free agent, and she has reportedly been in talks with AEW.
Per Figthful Select (subscription required), Purrazzo had interest expressed in her by multiple companies even before her IMPACT contract expired.
Numerous sources have indicated to Fightful that there have been some internal discussions with Purrazzo in AEW, with them being hopeful that they can land her in her free agency.
Fightful was also told that AEW was her preferred landing spot when finishing up with IMPACT.
As for WWE, Fightful noted that there had been contact with WWE, but WWE sources indicated that most, if not all, of their free agent discussions had been tabled until the start of the new year.
There has also been a lot of speculation about another major women’s free agent showing up in AEW soon, that being Mercedes Mone, which you can see the latest about here.
